• Provide expert knowledge and skills to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture
• Plan, coordinate and enhance TERA's Guide to Accident Prevention program to aid in reducing risk and meet all regulatory requirements
• Coordinate safety training of personnel
• Conduct and participating in regular inspections and audits
• Conduct incident investigations and near miss reporting
The successful candidate will have:
• Post-secondary education in Occupation Health & Safety or Industrial Hygiene
• CRSP or equivalent designation preferred
• 5-10 years industrial experience preferred

We are seeking an Intermediate Aquatics Biologist. Applicants should possess the following minimum qualifications.
• Masters degree in fish or aquatic-related studies with three or more years experience, or Bachelor degree with five or more years conducting and managing aquatic studies.
• Relevant oil and gas and regulatory experience.
• Knowledgeable with the Federal Fisheries Act, and relevant provincial environmental legislation in British Columbia, Alberta and/or Saskatchewan
• Hold or be eligible for P. Biol. or R. P.Bio. certification
• Preference will be given to candidates with previous consulting experience as a field crew lead and technical writing experience
• This position will require significant time in field. Candidates must be willing and able to travel outside the Calgary area.

TERA Environmental Consultants is currently accepting resumes for Environmental Planners and Senior Environmental Planners. The successful candidates will join our growing Planning Team in the Calgary Office and will work as part of a multi disciplinary project team. They will undertake a variety of project-related tasks including field work, report writing, and public and regulatory consultation
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
• University degree in environmental studies/planning or related field of study. A Masters degree would be an asset.
• 2 to 3 years (Environmental Planner) and 6 to 10 years (Senior Environmental Planner) related planning experience, working on projects under various jurisdictions (municipal, regional, provincial and federal); preference will be given to candidates with pipeline and/or powerline experience.
• Demonstrated ability as a environmental planning project leader and to manage multi-disciplinary environmental project teams
• Excellent communication and client relations skills are essential
• Working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental assessment legislation, environmental assessment processes, and other related environmental legislation
• Demonstrated knowledge of environmental approvals and permitting processes with various agencies, and the ability to secure project-related approvals and permits
• Proven ability to prepare comprehensive reports and plans

TERA is currently seeking an Senior Archaeologist for our Archaeological Team.
The Senior Archeologist will provide top quality work to TERA's client base throughout the western provinces, NWT and the Yukon.
The successful candidate will have:
• Permit Holding status in Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.
• A flexible schedule and be prepared to remain in the field for extended periods of time.
Five plus years experience in
• managing crews during both archaeological baseline assessments and excavations;
• conducting archaeological assessments in both northern boreal forest and prairie environments;
• completing successful projects on time and on budget;
• conducting archaeological assessments for development such as pipelines, access roads, powerlines, well sites, facilities, etc,
• Demonstrated they are a strong team player, with exemplary communication andd leadership skills.
